O2 IRELAND REAPS BENEFITS OF UNIQUE SOLUTION FROM SUPPLIERFORCE

Dublin, 23rd April 2007 - Supplierforce, the innovative web-based Supplier Management solutions provider, today announced that leading mobile communications provider, O2 Ireland, has chosen the company’s supplier management solution.

O2 Ireland required a solution to manage its large supplier base across all categories of its business. Supplierforce has delivered the centralised, web-based solution to O2 Ireland based on an innovative concept of suppliers self-maintaining key information for effective supplier management purposes. The solution provides comprehensive supplier data that allows O2 Ireland’s vendor & partner management and finance teams to effectively manage various elements of the relationships.

By automating the process of adding new suppliers in SAP, the solution is estimated by O2 Ireland to save over 70% of the cost of this key process. O2 Ireland can now set up suppliers rapidly on SAP. The turnaround time has gone from up to one month based on the previous manual methods to a maximum turnaround time of three days, including validation of supplier data for compliance purposes.
