SUPPLIERFORCE ENABLES PETERBOROUGH CITY COUNCIL TO SAVE MINIMUM HALF A MILLION POUNDS IN 2009 THROUGH STRATEGIC SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT

Peterborough City Council, widely recognised as one of the UK’s most progressive local authorities, is realising tangible cost savings and transparency through Supplierforce’s Supplier Management solution. The Council estimates that it will save in excess of £500,000 in 2009 by extending the use of the Supplierforce solution across the organisation. As part of its vision to provide a modernised, transformed service tocitizens while keeping council taxes low, Peterborough City Council (PCC) embarked on a major business transformation programme (2007 – 2010) to revolutionise the way it operates internally and delivers its services to its population.
