The Team


The company's experienced executive management team and non-executive directors have vast experience across a range of business functions (from Procurement to Finance and Sales) in the financial, telecommunications and enterprise software industries.

Management team:

Declan Kearney - Chief Executive Officer

Prior to founding Supplierforce in February 2004, Declan held a number of senior positions within international financial (GE Capital) and ICT organisations (including Vodafone and Verizon). His experience and views of customer/ supplier relationships have driven the development of the company's core, unique web-based solutions. He has presented his vision for collaborative Supplier Management in the UK and Ireland. Declan is a member of the executive council of the Irish Software Association and chairs the Public Procurement Working Group. Passionate about supplier relationships and international standards of excellence in Customer Support, Declan advocates truly unique perspectives on focussing on activities "beyond the transaction" and on Software solutions delivered "as a service" ("SAAS").  

Martin Tully – Chief Operating Officer

Martin has over 20 years experience across the public and private sector in a variety of senior Supply Chain and executive management positions. Martin worked for Intel Corporation for 17 years in roles including Head of Global Procurement Operations, European Purchasing Manager and senior management positions in Materials, Logistics, Planning and New Product Introduction. Before joining the executive management team and board of Supplierforce, he previously co-founded The Clearview Group, a leading Procurement Services company.

David Coffey – Chief Services Officer

David has extensive experience in strategic and procurement change across the public and private sector. Previous roles include the US Head of Procurement for Takeda Pharmaceuticals, VP of Corporate Planning and Strategic Sourcing with ABN AMRO North America and senior consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers' Strategic Change Group. Before joining the executive management team and board of Supplierforce, he previously co-founded The Clearview Group, a leading Procurement Services company.


David Sheedy - Technical Director

David is a software professional with over 15 years experience across a range of industries. David has lead the development of the Supplierforce solution since early 2004 when the company was founded. His development team have contributed invaluably to the solution through its evolution. David has an Honours BA in Economics & Philosophy, a diploma of Business Studies in the Smurfit Business School and various technical qualifications including Siemens CNI, Certified Internet/Intranet Professional (CIP) and Certified Microsoft CSE.

Gerry Murphy - Chairman

Gerry has spent 25 years in financial services working in various capacities (including procurement and finance) with Bank of Ireland and First Active. He was an executive director of First Active in Ireland and subsidiaries in Britain and Guernsey. Among a range of other business interests, Gerry is also chairman of Marble & Granite Supplies Ltd. and Great Gas Petroleum Plc which he founded in 2005. He is also a former non-executive director of Sherry FitzGerald Plc.

Bernadette Cullinan - Non-executive Director

With over 20 years of experience in industry at director and senior executive level, Bernie brings invaluable experience to the Supplierforce team. Bernie has proven expertise in development and management of medium to large organisations coupled with the building and consolidation of senior management teams to successfully deliver on strategic corporate objectives.  Having recently completed a two year term as chairman of the Irish Software Association, she was previously CEO of Steeltrace (recently acquired by US-based Compuware) and COO of Performix Technologies.

Meryl Bushell - Non Executive Director

Meryl has over 25 years experience in a range of senior executive positions. Her career has spanned sales, service, marketing and procurement. Prior to forming Meryl Bushell Ltd she was Chief Procurement Officer for BT Group where she led the globalisation of the procurement and supply chain functions in a fast changing dynamic sector. She has extensive knowledge of global supply industries and how to minimise risk in global supply chains. She is a recognised leader in the field of Responsible Procurement. She was named as one of 24 "Leaders in Procurement" by Supply Management magazine and regularly speaks on a range of supply chain topics at conferences and seminars. She sat on the Government Taskforce for Sustainable Procurement, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) and is a member of the Board of Management of the Institute.
